In grad school, we learned about the different sources of stress as well as their relative impact on health. Although most of us associate stress with negative situations such as job loss and death, stress also comes from positive situations like marriage and moving to a new city. I’m no stranger to stress, both from external causes as well as the tricks my anxiety-riddled brain plays on me.
